East-West-Forum 2022

On November 8, 2022, the second edition of the East-West Forum took place. Under the motto "Globalization & Re-Globalization: where is the world economy heading?", this event provided an international exchange platform between universities and political and economic actors from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Spain, Germany and the USA.

The highlight of this year's forum was the panel discussion. Here, professors, CEOs and political representatives from Saxony and around the world discussed the effects and consequences of current megatrends on the global economy. These exciting topics were examined from a variety of angles to highlight alternative perspectives and explore new opportunities for cross-border cooperation. The audience on site and online participated with numerous as well as critical questions and made the East-West Forum a great event!
