  • 1976 - 80 Project manager of a medium-sized group of companies, responsible for the establishment of subsidiaries and sales companies in Brazil, Singapore, etc.
  • Part-time consultant for the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau in Frankfurt/M. and the Gesellschaft für technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) Eschborn for projects in Central America, Kenya and Zambia
  • 1981 - 87 Philippines, Project Manager based in Manila
  • 1988 - 95 Regional Manager ASEAN Countries based in Manila for DEG-Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft, Cologne;
