This programme invites all students with above-average Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) completed in economics or engineering to apply and commence the Masters of Science ‘Industrial Management’ at the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida.
The applicant must have a good command of English (minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
To prove your language skills the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida accepts the following aptitude tests:
- German university entrance qualification (Abitur) with intensive course English and at least the grade ‘good’ (2,0 or 11 points) in average of the last 4 semesters of school or
- Internationally accepted aptitude test:
If you are a native English speaker or have already obtained a degree in an English study programme, no further language proof is required.

Another requirement to continue the studies in Mittweida after the first semester is the placement among the first 10 students in the examinations at the end of the first semester. Each partner university selects these student in a ranking and is allowed to send up to 10 students to Mittweida in the double degree programme. All other students need to continue their studies at the partner university without a double degree and cannot move to Mittweida.
