The project ‘JOIN IM’ aims to involve German and Belarusian business partners in the development and commencement of the joint international study programme ‘Industrial Management – Innovation & Business Expansion’ from the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida (HSMW) and the Belarusian State University Minsk (BSU). The programme is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) within the framework of the partnership programme between universities and companies in Germany and respective developing countries.
To achieve a Double Master’s degree the study programme foresees the first study period (1st semester) at the Belarusian State University Minsk.
The English language Master’s programme 'Industrial Management' has a modular structure and offers basic sets in economics and management as well as engineering and sciences. Based on these basic sets students have the possibility to either focus on an engineering profile complemented with management know how or on a management profile complemented with technical know how. These two profiles are designed to meet the requirements of the industry.
Furthermore, the programme enhances social competences, particularly students develop intercultural competences. At the same time the ability to think and act interdisciplinary is fostered.
Considering the internationalisation of economic and business processes the Master’s programme 'Industrial Management- Innovation & Business Expansion' provides students with the relevant set of skills and offers them a broad sphere of activity after their studies.
